Sanatani Cricket League in Delhi: Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, Devkinandan Thakur, and others to play for flood relief
A unique Sanatani Cricket League (SCL) is set to take place at Karnail Singh Stadium, New Delhi, this Saturday. The event, organised by the Sanatani Nyas Foundation under the guidance of Devkinandan Thakur, aims to raise funds for flood victims across northern India.
According to reports, entry to the event will be free, allowing devotees and fans to witness this spiritual-meets-sport initiative. The matches will follow a T-20 format and will be streamed live on social media and YouTube channels.
Four teams will participate, each led by a noted spiritual leader.
- Vrindavan Warriors – led by Devkinandan Maharaj
- Bajrang Blasters – captained by Dhirendra Krishna Shastri (Bageshwar Dham Sarkar)
- Radhe Royals – led by Indresh Upadhyay
- Raghav Riders – captained by Chinmayanand Bapu
The league comes as a noble gesture to aid those affected by the devastating floods in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, and Jammu & Kashmir, where relentless rains have claimed over 90 lives and displaced thousands.
Through cricket and collective devotion, the Sanatani community unites once again, this time, to serve humanity.
