Tripura Sundari Temple sets new record before Deepavali
The sacred Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur has received its highest-ever annual donation of Rs 16 lakh this year.
Traditionally opened before Deepavali, the temple’s donation box revealed a sharp rise from the usual 5–6 lakh collected earlier. Devotees are arriving in larger numbers, drawn by the newly renovated complex inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The temple is now preparing for the grand three-day Deepavali festival beginning October 19. Authorities expect record footfall and are reinforcing security and volunteer teams to ensure smooth darshan.
In a heartwarming addition, the Tourism Department will soon introduce ‘Kalyan Arati’, inspired by the famous Ganga Arati of Kashi. Experts from Kashi will guide local performers to continue this spiritual ritual every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday after the festival.
Devotees from across India are being invited to witness this unique celebration of devotion and renewal at the Shakti Peetha of Maa Tripura Sundari, a temple where faith, beauty, and bhakti meet.
