The saffron flag will soon soar atop Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir, marking the completion of a temple built with ancient wisdom and modern precision. Over 55 million devotees have already witnessed its grandeur since the consecration of Bhagwan Ram’s murti. What makes this temple extraordinary is not just faith, but the timeless craftsmanship rooted in Sanatana Dharma’s architectural traditions.
No iron. No cement. Only stone, copper, and devotion. The National Institute of Rock Mechanics showcased the temple’s construction at the India International Trade Fair, revealing how thousand-year-old granite forms the foundation, sandstone from Rajasthan’s Pindwara and Bansi mountains adorns the exterior, and Grade One Makrana marble graces the sanctum. The murti of Bhagwan Ram is carved from the finest high-strength granite.
Ancient Indian interlocking techniques hold the structure together. Stones fit naturally into each other, secured with copper clamps, not iron. Every block was tested for strength, durability, and internal cracks using ultrasonic velocity and compression tests. This ensures the temple stands for centuries, unaffected by weather or time.
This is not just construction. This is civilisational resurrection. When a temple rises without modern shortcuts, it honors the sacred knowledge of our ancestors. Ram Mandir stands as proof that Hindu heritage, wisdom, and devotion are eternal.
