Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has invited applications for the post of CEO of the Ram Temple administration.
The successful candidate will serve as the administrative head of temple management and oversee day-to-day operations in Ayodhya. According to the Trust, applications must be submitted by 4 pm on July 18. The selected CEO will be appointed for an initial three-year term and must reside in Ayodhya during the tenure.
The eligibility criteria are strict. Applicants must be graduates with at least 20 years of experience in administration or finance. Preference will be given to those with prior temple management experience, and the candidate must also be a follower of the Hindu faith.
The recruitment comes at a sensitive time, as the Ram Temple donation embezzlement row continues to draw scrutiny. The Supreme Court has already issued notices to the Centre, the Uttar Pradesh government, and the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Trust on petitions seeking an independent, court-monitored probe into the alleged misappropriation of donations. The apex court has also asked the UP government’s SIT to file a status report and disclose its composition.
Ram Temple construction committee chairman Nripendra Misra has clarified that the CEO will function under the Trust and act as the administrative head, with powers determined by the delegation granted by the Trust. He said any changes in sub-committees will follow the bylaws.
The appointment is important because it comes at a moment when questions of trust, transparency, and administration are under close public watch.
