US-based devotee M Ramalinga Raju donates Rs 9 crore to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams for renovating PAC buildings. The generous contribution will improve facilities for millions of pilgrims visiting the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple. TTD Chairman B R Naidu announced the donation on Wednesday, praising Raju’s commitment to serving devotees and seeking the deity’s blessings on him.

Raju made the donation on behalf of his daughter Nethra and son-in-law Vamsi Gadiraju. This is not his first seva. He previously donated Rs 16 crore to TTD in 2012, demonstrating consistent devotion and generosity. Raju expressed deep gratitude to TTD for allowing him to contribute, noting his profound familial connection to Tirupati. His grandfathers G Rangaraju and V Kanaka Raju served as TTD chairmen, and his uncle K Bapi Raju was a Congress politician. All have roots in West Godavari district.

TTD, custodian of the world’s richest Hindu shrine, relies on such donations to maintain and upgrade infrastructure for devotees. The PAC buildings provide essential accommodation and services for pilgrims. When devotees contribute generously, they honor both Bhagwan Venkateswara and the sacred duty of seva.

This is more than philanthropy. This is devotion in action. When faith inspires seva, temples thrive, devotees benefit, and dharma strengthens. Such generosity sets an example for all.
