The Sri Venugopala Krishna Temple, a revered Sanatana Dharma shrine in the heart of Tiruchirappalli, has been a centre of Krishna bhakti for over two centuries. On Janmashtami, the temple priests conducted Vedic recitations, Hanuman Chalisa, and Sundarkand, followed by the ceremonial Panchamritabhishekam using milk, curd, honey, sugar, and ghee.
