Ayodhya, the eternal city of Shree Ram, is preparing for another historic moment. During Deepotsav 2025, a grand Ramayana-themed Wax Museum will be inaugurated on the Parikrama Path of Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir.
Spread across 10,000 square feet, this unique museum will showcase nearly 50 lifelike wax statues of characters from the Ramayana. From Shree Ram, Mata Sita, Lakshman, and Hanuman to Sugriv, Jatayu, and others, every murti is being crafted with intricate detail, authentic attire, and divine expressions. Visitors will also witness breathtaking recreations of Ramayana episodes, including the Ram-Ravana battle, Sita’s abduction, Hanuman’s leap to Lanka, and the building of the Ram Setu.
The museum is designed with immersive audio-visual effects and interactive displays, ensuring that children and youth connect deeply with the values of the Ramayana. Crafted by experts from Maharashtra and Kerala, the artistry promises authenticity and devotion in every detail.
This project, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, reflects the vision of making Ayodhya a global cultural and spiritual center. With the Shree Ram Mandir standing tall, the Ramayana Wax Museum will add another jewel to Ayodhya’s sacred heritage.
As millions of diyas shine this Deepotsav, the light of Shree Ram’s legacy will glow even brighter.
