On the auspicious occasion of Padmini Ekadashi, a large number of devotees gathered in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, to offer prayers and take a holy dip in the sacred Saryu River.
Padmini Ekadashi, observed on May 27, 2026, is one of the rarest and most powerful Ekadashis dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This divine vrat occurs during Adhik Maas (Purushottam Maas), which happens once in three years, making it exceptionally significant for spiritual purification.
Devotees took a holy dip in the Saryu River, believing it washes away sins and brings immense blessings, peace, prosperity, and spiritual purification. Thousands gathered at Saryu Ghat, chanting prayers, performing rituals, and offering condolences to their ancestors.
The Ekadashi Tithi began on May 26 at 5:10 AM and concluded on May 27 at 6:21 AM. Devotees observed fasts, wore clean yellow or white clothes, offered Tulsi leaves and amla to Lord Vishnu, and recited powerful mantras like “Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya” and “Namo Narayanaya.”
