Unsettling incident on the Taptiganga Express as stones were hurled at the train traveling from Surat to Prayagraj on Sunday afternoon.
The attack occurred near Jalgaon, Maharashtra, when a stone shattered the window glass in the coach, causing chaos among passengers, many of whom were pilgrims headed for the Maha Kumbh.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Railway authorities swiftly responded, but the motive behind the act remains unclear as the culprit fled the scene.
An investigation is underway, and safety measures are being strengthened to prevent future incidents.
