Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati has once again sharply attacked the handling of the Ram temple donation theft case, alleging that the treasurer of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is being protected.
During his visit to Bareilly and Pilibhit as part of his 81-day Goraksha evam Dharmayuddh Yatra, the Jyotirmath seer said the alleged embezzlement was not an isolated issue but part of a larger conspiracy. He claimed that efforts were being made to shield those responsible and questioned why senior religious leaders were not given a greater role in the trust’s composition.
He also repeated his demand that the cow be given the status of Rashtra Mata. Calling cow protection a matter of national importance, he urged people to turn it into a mass movement. He said those who consider the cow as mother are bound by a shared spiritual and cultural bond, and appealed to people to support only those political parties that promise stronger cow protection.
The seer further announced plans to collect public donations for a cowshed in the region and appointed a local coordinator for the purpose. In Pilibhit, he also targeted the BJP government, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and the RSS, saying cow protection should rise above politics.
The Ram temple donation case has already triggered arrests, judicial custody, and intense public debate. With new allegations and sharp religious-political commentary, the controversy continues to deepen.
Swami Avimukteshwaranand says the Ram temple donation theft case is being covered up, while renewing his call for cow to be declared Rashtra Mata.
Faith, trust, and accountability now stand at the heart of a growing public storm.
