Hyderabad witnessed a grand Ganesh murti arrival on September 9, with the Lee-Chee Ka Raja 2026 becoming a major attraction in Begum Bazar.

The idol is crafted from panchaloha, a traditional five-metal alloy, and covered with 24-karat gold plating. Adding to its spectacular appearance, the murti is reportedly decorated with an astonishing 3,83,800 American diamonds, creating a dazzling golden effect under the lights.

The murti depicts Lord Ganesha along with the Dashavataras, the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu. Reports said thousands of devotees gathered to witness its grand arrival, while videos from the procession quickly gained attention online.

The unique murti is part of the Lee-Chee Ka Raja Ganeshotsav celebrations in Begum Bazar and was reportedly created by Leechee Pearls Jewels, a Hyderabad-based jewellery shop. The murti is a unique interpretation of Lalbaugcha Raja, inspired by Tirupati Balaji, combining the familiar grandeur of Mumbai’s iconic Ganpati idol with the traditional aesthetic associated with the deity of Tirumala.

The Golden Ganesha murti is installed at the Lee-Chee Ka Raja Ganeshotsav pandal in Begum Bazar, Hyderabad. From its golden finish to the extraordinary number of American diamonds adorning it, Lee-Chee Ka Raja has offered devotees a visually stunning start to the Ganeshotsav celebrations in Hyderabad.
