Devotees have begun the 226th jayanti celebrations of Siddi Vinayaka at the Rejinthal village temple in Nyalkal mandal, with festivities scheduled from December 21 to 25. Large numbers of devotees from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra thronged the kshetra on the opening day, with many couples participating in special homams and a Laksha Pushparchana offered to Siddi Vinayaka.

Temple authorities reiterated the long-held belief that the Siddi Vinayaka murti at Rejinthal is svayambhu and that its height increases slightly every year, a phenomenon that continues to draw devotees seeking siddhi and success. To manage the influx, the temple committee has arranged special buses from different parts of Sangareddy district as well as from adjoining states, along with facilities for pilgrims in and around the temple.

On the very first day, officials recorded a heavy rush of devotees, reflecting the growing prominence of this historic Vinayaka kshetra in the devotional map of the Telugu states. For many, Rejinthal’s Siddi Vinayaka is not just a temple, but a living sign that where faith is steady, Ganapati’s grace also keeps growing year after year.
