The Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has formed a nine-member saints’ panel to oversee religious affairs at the Ayodhya Ram Temple.

The committee will be led by Trust treasurer Swami Govind Dev Giri and includes five prominent Ayodhya saints: Mahant Kamal Nayan Das, Swami Ramanand Das, Swami Rajkumar Das, Swami Mithilesh Nandini Sharan, and Mahant Dinendra Das of the Nirmohi Akhara. The remaining four members will be representatives associated with the Trust.

The panel will be responsible for rituals, festivals, worship arrangements, and coordination with seers in Ayodhya. The move is part of a broader restructuring as the temple transitions from construction to full-scale operations.

In another key decision, the Trust has approved the appointment of an official spokesperson to handle communication with the media and the public. However, it deferred the appointment of a permanent chief executive officer and the filling of three vacant trustee positions. The CEO selection has been postponed by a month after receiving over 5,200 applications, including from retired civil servants and senior professionals.

Ayodhya Ram Temple gets a 9-member saints’ panel for religious affairs and approves a spokesperson, while the CEO appointment is delayed.

When faith meets administration, balance becomes essential.
