UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath declared no one found guilty will be spared in the Ram Temple donation controversy, setting a 15-day deadline for the SIT probe into alleged misappropriation of devotees’ sacred offerings at the Ayodhya shrine.

In the first direct intervention, CM assured devotees alleged misappropriation of offerings made in Lord Ram’s name would be investigated impartially. SIT will separate truth from falsehood within 15 days.

Controversy concerns donations by millions of devotees to Hinduism’s most revered shrine. Allegations involve money and valuables offered at the temple being siphoned off by individuals handling donations.

Most sensitive aspect allegations involve devotees’ offerings made out of faith, triggering accountability concerns in temple donation management. Opposition alleged large-scale irregularities, while Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust denied wrongdoing and sought an independent investigation.

SIT, headed by IAS officer Vijay Vishwas Pant, includes IG Kiran S and Finance Secretary Neel Ratan Kumar. Panel examining donation counting records, staff deployment, and security protocols.

Reports of cash recoveries from employees, questioning of donation management personnel, intensified the spotlight. SIT will determine the theft or embezzlement scale and the adequacy of institutional safeguards.

Yogi’s statement is politically significant, signaling the state government’s unwillingness to dismiss allegations as political rhetoric. By promising action against the guilty regardless of position, CM raised the stakes for the investigation.

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav continues questioning donation handling, demanding transparency. The issue became a closely watched political controversy in Uttar Pradesh.

With Yogi personally backing the probe, a 15-day timeline, the investigation outcome will determine if the allegations amount to a criminal breach of trust or are disproved by official findings.

CM Yogi ensures accountability in Ram Temple donations. Protect devotees’ sacred offerings. Jai Shri Ram.
