25-year-old Jogesh from Basti district completed a 9-km dandwat yatra to Baida Samay Mata temple, marking the finalized divorce with a 12-hour prostration journey.
Married in 2022 amid repeated disputes, the court granted a divorce in January 2026. Vow made during marital crisis honored through full-body prostration chanting Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bajrangbali.
Began early morning, observing a total fast, reaching the temple by evening. Broke coconut, ended fast after prayers, thanking Devi for liberation from a troubled marriage.
SDM approved the yatra with police deployment. Family accompanied while villagers gathered support along the route, witnessing an extraordinary personal dharma triumph.
