Srisailam temple has announced changes in darshan arrangements to make access smoother for common devotees.

On Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays, morning Sparsha Darshan will now be given only to devotees who have booked tickets in advance through the Manamitra WhatsApp service or online platforms. VIP recommendation letter holders will not be allowed morning Sparsha Darshan. They will be eligible only at night from 9 p.m. onward, depending on availability.

The temple management said the move has been made to reduce waiting time and ease crowd pressure in the queues, especially as pilgrim footfall continues to rise sharply. The new system is meant to help ordinary devotees in Sarva Darshan, Sheegra Darshan, and Ati-Sheegra Darshan lines receive a smoother and faster darshan.

Srisailam temple management said the revised system prioritises common devotees and ensures better crowd management during peak days.

For devotees, this change brings relief and fairness. Access to darshan must reflect devotion first, not privilege.
