Champat Rai and Anil Mishra have resigned from the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust amid the Ram temple donation row.
The Trust, through Treasurer Govind Dev Giri, said it has received both resignations and will decide on them at its next meeting on July 11. The statement said the Trust is shocked, hurt, and deeply saddened by the developments, and that a fair inquiry will be conducted to restore devotees’ faith.
The report also says eight persons named in an FIR over the alleged embezzlement of donations at the Ram temple were arrested on Thursday night.
